VIP.com was established in August 2008, headquartered in Guangzhou, and its website was launched on December 8 of the same year. On March 23, 2012, VIP.com was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). VIP.com has five logistics and warehousing centers, located in Tianjin, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Sichuan and Hubei, serving customers in North China, South China, East China, Southwest China and Central China respectively, with a nationwide storage area of 2.2 million square meters.
2. Project Overview
VIP.com’s multi shuttle storage integrated system is a set of integrated systems for storage and order sorting with shuttle as the core, tailored by Inform Storage for VIP.com.
This project innovatively adopts the cooperative operation of Inform Storage and VIP.com, and the mode of charging according to the flow. The investment and construction of Inform Storage includes a complete set of automation systems and warehousing software solutions in racking, bins, multi shuttles, lifters, conveyor lines, distribution hoppers, WMS, WCS, and etc., to meet the customer’s order fulfillment in three business models: forward delivery, reverse supply and inter-warehouse transfer, and provide on-site automation system software and hardware operation and maintenance services. Ensure the high efficiency and performance effectiveness of the entire system.

4. Project Features
1). High self-production rate: All major core equipment of the system are self-produced, and the self-production rate exceeds 95%;
2). The self-developed multi shuttle has excellent performance and uses super capacitors as power sources;
3). The distribution funnel is specially developed for the VIP.com project as a work station for man-machine interaction;
4). Adopt a very personalized cooperation model with VIP.com, and put it into operation in the form of equipment rental.
5).Independently developed and customized a powerful WMS and WCS system for VIP.com:

① Task scheduling, charging management, fault feedback, operation status information collection and analysis of all shuttle vehicles, etc.;
②Scheduling of lifter pick-up and drop-off tasks and layer-changing tasks;
③Sorting of distribution hoppers cargo, cargo collection task management, etc.
